Can I give only a maximum budget?+
Yes. Enter a minimum budget, a maximum budget, or both. If you enter both, the maximum must be at least the minimum. State any separate purchase-cost requirements in your brief.
Will sellers see my contact details?+
The approved public brief contains the car make, model, preferred condition and budget. Your name, phone and private notes are visible only to the coordination team. Seller introductions are coordinated after review.
Does the lowest offer automatically win?+
No. Offers are reviewed against your brief. Price, vehicle condition, available documentation and inspection findings all inform your decision. Nothing on this page automatically accepts an offer or completes a purchase.
What does Hello Certified certification mean?+
It is a planned branded condition-review process with defined inspection and issuance criteria. A certificate is not issued from a request or seller claim alone, and does not replace ownership, legal-document or manufacturer checks.
What does “if the car breaks down” mean?+
It refers to a mechanical or electrical breakdown covered by the final written Hello Buy benefit terms. The proposed discount is 100% on approved eligible mechanical breakdown repair charges for a qualifying certified marketplace car with an active PRO plan, for up to three years. It is not active yet.
Is this the same as Hello Protect PRO?+
hellomechaniX Buy coordinates your car search and reviewed offers. Qualifying certified marketplace purchases can request the proposed PRO 100% mechanical breakdown repair benefit for up to three years. Connected services and the accident repair benefit have their own defined scope.
Do I pay when submitting my car brief?+
No. Your brief is a request for coordination. Inspection charges, purchase costs, any certification scope and applicable benefit terms are quoted or explained separately before you commit.
